This former 17th century convent has preserved its architecture and all the authenticity of the buildings of the period with its cloister, arcades and vaults. Leaning on stone, its interior decoration combines rich colors, noble materials and modern furniture. The spaces are comfortable and well equipped. Around the Bar or in the cloister sun, it will be pleasant for you to share our homemade Tapas created by our Chef, to taste local wines from our Great Cellar or even to admire the sunset, on the bell tower of the church, from the Rooftop a cocktail in hand.

The hostel is located in the heart of Bastide Saint-Louis (heart of town) surrounded by shops, businesses, restaurants and cafes / bars. A Municipal Parking makes it possible to park safely at preferential rates and Carcassonne Airport is accessible in a few minutes thanks to the numerous municipal shuttles. A taxi station is also in the immediate vicinity.

Can minors stay at the Convent?
You are welcome at the Convent from the age of 16.

Unfortunately animals are not allowed in our establishment.

Yes, we have fast and accessible Wi-Fi throughout our establishment.
Is there a kitchen?
We have a tapas and wine bar open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. You have a restaurant area every day from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Are there lockers?
Each room is equipped with several lockers available free of charge.
You must bring a padlock if you wish to use them.
Do you offer breakfast?
Of course, at a rate of € 6.50 served from 8 am to 10:30 am every morning!
What things should I take?
We provide sheets and pillows and you can rent towels at the reception.
For the good of your social life, we advise you to take a shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste!
What are the check-in / check-out times?
Check-in is between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.
The day of your departure, we ask you to leave your room before 11:00 am. You can then freely enjoy our bar or our restaurant.
Where is Le Couvent?
Our hostel Le Couvent is located at 31 rue du 4 Septembre in Carcassonne (11000). In the heart of the city, a stone's throw from Place Carnot.
Three car parks are located nearby and free spaces are available in the surrounding streets.
